How We Stay Accountable
At every level, from our Board to field teams, we uphold our responsibility as stewards of the resources entrusted to us. We maintain the highest standards of financial accountability through robust systems and clear oversight.
Independent Oversight
An independent Board provides governance leadership, managing risk and ensuring statutory compliance.
Layered Audits
Our finances are regularly audited at multiple levels, including local project audits, annual statutory audits by reputed firms, and internal audits conducted by our Regional Internal Audit Team.
Strict Compliance
We follow stringent internal controls to ensure compliance to all applicable laws.
Community Partnerships
We work closely with community-based organisations to ensure transparency, responsiveness, and accountability at the grassroots level.
Our Funding Sources
We raise funds primarily through child sponsorship, where supporters pledge a monthly amount to help vulnerable children and their communities. Sponsorship ensures access to essentials and supports age-appropriate development.
We also receive one-time donations for specific needs, CSR contributions from corporates, and grants from foundations and bilateral agencies. Many of our issue-focused programmes are funded through these strategic partnerships.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Every programme we implement is designed with measurable indicators that track progress toward child well-being goals. We assess our performance within the community and against broader national benchmarks.
Regular evaluations help us understand our impact, inform decision-making, and make necessary adjustments. Our progress is reported twice a year to the Board, annually to the public through our Annual Review, and regularly to sponsors and donors through dedicated newsletters.
